Jackie's life-long pursuit of self expression, natural gift of creativity and a passion to find her place in the art world, drew her to art from a young age. At SUNY Purchase, NY and The School of Visual Arts in New York City, she reveled in studio painting, sculpting, printmaking, life drawing, anatomy, art history ... a rich curriculum of fine art.
The practicalities of life demand diverse skills, tools and the desire to succeed. So while Jackie's career path detoured into massage therapy as an occupation, art remained her avocation.
In what she describes as her "epiphany," Jackie began
transitioning to art as her full time profession in 2010.
That is when she recognized that her art work, infused with spirituality, presents a path for sharing restorative, healing
energy with others. Today, Jackie connects the teachings of Buddha with her diverse creations: multi media collage, sculpture, and painting.
As a highly trained and sought-after massage therapist and healer, Jackie's journey has nurtured her metaphysical side and talent for connecting with human energy -- body and spirit since 1994. She infuses yoga and meditation into her practice and takes deep satisfaction in bringing calm, healing, and positive energy to people. She translates these principles to her art.
